Bobst Bielefeld will hold an open house from February 25-26 in its Compentence Center in Bielefeld, Germany. Reminiscent of last year’s open house in October, there will be both a print demonstration and speeches on process related topics to update visitors on the latest technological developments.

Bobst will showcase the latest technology at its open house in Bielefeld.

The live demonstration will be focused on a Bobst F&K 20SIX CS model, which is based on the F&K 20SIX series of CI flexo presses. The model that will be on demonstration features a print width of 1650 mm (65”), a repeat of 1200 mm (47.2”) and a speed of 600 m/min (1970 ft/min).

It is designed for both solvent-based and water-based printing. SmartGPS, the off-press impression setting system, shaftless winders, a 100% inspection system, a special slitting device and an auxiliary system for handling large format cylinders will also be displayed.

The first day of the event is targeted at an international audience with all presentations given in English. On February 26, 26 all presentations will be given in German. On both days, the formal agenda is scheduled from 11 a.m. to approximately 6.30 p.m.
